Walla Walla is the largest city in and the county seat of Walla Walla County, Washington, United States. On the 7th (Fri), do a tasting at Reininger Winery, then get engrossed in the history at Whitman Mission, then get engrossed in the history at Fort Walla Walla Museum, and finally learn about winemaking at Kontos Cellars. On the 8th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: do a tasting at Basel Cellars Estate Winery, awaken your taste buds at some of the top wineries in the area, and then take in nature's colorful creations at Pioneer Park.

A big city with a small-town feel, Portland is home to the country's biggest rose test garden, perched on a hill overlooking downtown.
Step off the beaten path and head to Domaine Serene and Live Laugh Love Art. Get some cultural insight at The Historic Carousel and Museum and Multnomah Village. Get out of town with these interesting Portland side-trips: Wine Tours & Tastings (in Newberg), Schreiner's Iris Gardens (in Salem) and Stoller Family Estate (in Dayton). There's still lots to do: do a tasting at Willamette Valley Vineyards, take in the spiritual surroundings of Portland Oregon Temple & Visitors' Center, stop by Powell's City of Books, and admire the natural beauty at Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden.
