Turin — 4 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Let the collections at Museo Egizio and Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi capture your imagination. Basilica di Superga and Palazzo Reale Di Torino will appeal to history buffs. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Castello di Fenis (in Fenis), Lake Orta (in Orta San Giulio) and Forte di Bard (in Bard). There's still lots to do: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, catch a live event at Juventus Stadium, step into the grandiose world of Castello di Grinzane Cavour, and do a tasting at Cantina Francesco Borgogno.

To find maps, other places to visit, ratings, and more tourist information, refer to the Turin online trip itinerary maker.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. April in Turin sees daily highs of 17°C and lows of 9°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 13th (Fri) to allow time to travel back home.
