Turin — 4 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Popular historic sites such as Castello e Parco di Masino and Castello della Manta are in your itinerary. Get a sense of the local culture at Sacro Monte and Castello di Serralunga d'Alba. Explore Turin's surroundings by going to Castello Reale di Sarre (in Sarre), Aosta (Criptoportico Forense, Collegiata dei Santi Pietro e Orso, &more) and Castello Sarriod de La Tour (in St. Pierre). There's much more to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Santuario Basilica di Montis Regalis, pause for some serene contemplation at Chiesa di Santa Maria del Monte dei Cappuccini, step into the grandiose world of Castello di Issogne, and contemplate the waterfront views at Colline di Torino.

If you are flying in from The Netherlands, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In November, daytime highs in Turin are 11°C, while nighttime lows are 7°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 5th (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
