Old Pueblo

One of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the country, Tucson is a city on a cultural crossroads, with European, Native American, Mexican, and Asian residents blending and sometimes conflicting with one another.
Tucson is known for museums, nature, and historic sites. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: examine the collection at Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, take in the spiritual surroundings of Mission San Xavier del Bac, explore the stunning scenery at Madera Canyon, and explore and take pictures at Mt. Lemmon Scenic Byway.

Tombstone — 2 nights

Town Too Tough to Die

Founded in 1877 as a mining camp, Tombstone became one of the most storied towns of the "Wild West." As one of the last frontier boomtowns in the United States, Tombstone prospered between 1880 and 1890, attracting cattle rustlers and outlaws.
On the 11th (Sat), take an in-depth tour of O.K. Corral, then explore the different monuments and memorials at Boothilll Graveyard, and then don't miss a visit to Bird Cage Theatre. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 12th (Sun): Head underground at Kartchner Caverns State Park and then learn about winemaking at Dos Cabezas WineWorks.
