Built on a desolate swamp as a showcase capital of Imperial Russia, this grand city has certainly lived up to the expectations of its founder, Tsar Peter the Great.
Kick off your visit on the 5th (Mon): take in the spiritual surroundings of Grand Choral Synagogue, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood, then make a trip to Palace Square, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Saint Isaac's Cathedral.

Start off your visit on the 6th (Tue): kick back and relax at Old Kuban City Beach, contemplate the long history of Memorial Arch Kuban Proud of Them, then pause for some photo ops at Monument to Kuban Cossacks, then pause for some serene contemplation at St. Elijah Church, and finally make a trip to Krasnaya ulitsa.

Tuapse

Tuapse is a town in Krasnodar Krai, Russia, situated on the northeast shore of the Black Sea, south of Gelendzhik and north of Sochi. Kick off your visit on the 9th (Fri): take in the dramatic natural features at Cape Kadosh and then have some family-friendly fun at Limpopo Entertainment Center.
