With the dramatic Carpathian Mountains as backdrop, Brasov is the largest city in a region of mountain resorts.
Get out of town with these interesting Brasov side-trips: Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle) (in Bran) and Sinaia (Pelisor Castle & Peles Castle).
