The tourist-oriented town of Quepos marks the entrance for many travelers looking to explore the nearby national park.Step out of Quepos with an excursion to MidWorld Costa Rica in Manuel Antonio--about 32 minutes away. And it doesn't end there: kick back and relax at Playa Manuel Antonio, let the river carry you with a rafting and tubing tour, tour the pleasant surroundings at Playa Biesanz, and stop by Super Joseth.

San Jose to Quepos is an approximately 2-hour combination of bus and flight. You can also take a bus; or drive. In April, daily temperatures in Quepos can reach 32°C, while at night they dip to 22°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 28th (Sat) so you can travel to Monteverde.

Traveling by combination of bus and shuttle from Quepos to Monteverde takes 3 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight and car; or drive. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 30th (Mon) early enough to drive back home.
