Drive from Florence to Newport in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. July in Newport sees daily highs of 63°F and lows of 50°F at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 31st (Sat) so you can drive to Seaside.

Kick off your visit on the 1st (Sun): enjoy the sand and surf at Cannon Beach, kick back and relax at Haystack Rock, then admire the majestic nature at Ecola State Park, and finally appreciate the history behind Seaside Beach Lewis and Clark Monument.
