Windhoek — 1 night

Located in the heart of the country, Namibia's capital city Windhoek receives a constant influx of tourists, in part because of its international airport.
On the 27th (Thu), take an exotic tour of a safari tour. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 28th (Fri): contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Christuskirche, then examine the collection at Trans-Namib Railroad Museum, and then stroll through NamibRand Nature Reserve.

Cape Town, South Africa to Windhoek is an approximately 5.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. The time zone changes from South Africa Standard Time to Central Africa Time, which is usually a -1 hour difference. Expect a daytime high around 31°C in April, and nighttime lows around 15°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 28th (Fri) early enough to catch the flight to Swakopmund.

Nestled on Namibia's Atlantic coast and surrounded by the sand dunes of the vast Namib Desert, the resort town of Swakopmund enchants visitors with its distinct German colonial architecture and pleasant climate.
