Paradise

Paradise is an unincorporated community in Whitefish Township, Chippewa County in the U.S. state of Michigan.Paradise is on the northeastern portion of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, on the western side of Whitefish Bay, Lake Superior, about 60mi by road from Sault Ste. Kick off your visit on the 4th (Sun): take an in-depth tour of Whitefish Point Light, see the interesting displays at Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum, and then admire the majestic nature at Tahquamenon Falls State Park.

Detroit to Paradise is an approximately 3-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and taxi. Traveling from Detroit in July, expect Paradise to be slightly colder, temps between 74°F and 53°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 4th (Sun) early enough to go by car to Saint Ignace.

Saint Ignace
