The tiny but densely populated city of Male represents a contrast to the laid-back beach resorts found in much of the rest of the Maldives.Take a break from Male with a short trip to Veli Spa at Kurumba Maldives in Vihamanafushi, about 44 minutes away. There's lots more to do: take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Grand Friday Mosque, walk around Sultan Park, and stroll through Hulhumale Beach.
