London

— 3 nights

The Forest City

It's home to a diverse population and perched on the River Thames, but that's where the similarities end between the city of London in Canada, and it's much more famous British counterpart.
Venture out of the city with trips to Reid Chocolates (in Cambridge), African Lion Safari (in Hamilton) and Church of Our Lady Immaculate (in Guelph). Pack the 20th (Sun) with family-friendly diversions at Storybook Gardens. There's much more to do: stroll around Victoria Park, don't miss a visit to University of Western Ontario, let the kids burn off some steam at Springbank Park, and contemplate the long history of Eldon House.
