Dublin — 4 nights

Fair City

A history spanning over a thousand years, vibrant nightlife, and a mix of Georgian and modern architecture make Dublin a popular European tourist destination.
Visit Guinness Storehouse and Bru na Boinne for their historical value. Do your shopping at National Gallery of Ireland and Grafton Street. Change things up with these side-trips from Dublin: Dalkey Castle and Heritage Centre (in Dalkey), Cliff Walk Car Park Bray (in Bray) and Powerscourt Gardens and House (in Enniskerry). There's lots more to do: appreciate the history behind Newgrange, contemplate the long history of Kilmainham Gaol Museum, examine the collection at The Jeanie Johnston: An Irish Famine Story, and get engrossed in the history at 14 Henrietta Street.

For traveler tips, more things to do, where to stay, and tourist information, refer to the Dublin trip planner.

If you are flying in from The Netherlands, the closest major aiport is Dublin Airport. In July in Dublin, expect temperatures between 23°C during the day and 12°C at night.
