With much of Culebra a nature refuge, the tropical island has been protected from overdevelopment, chain hotels, and the cruise set.

Relax by the water at Playa Carlos Rosario and Playa Punta Soldado Beach. Escape the urban bustle at Brava Beach and Scuba & Snorkeling. There's lots more to do: visit a coastal fixture at Culebrita Lighthouse, kick back and relax at Playa Tamarindo, tour the pleasant surroundings at Melones Beach, and get lost in a book at Culebra Public Library.
