Visit Louisa May Alcott's Orchard House and Lexington Green for their historical value. Do some cultural sightseeing at John F. Kennedy National Historic Site and Old State House. Take a break from Boston with a short trip to The Old North Bridge in Concord, about 36 minutes away. There's still lots to do: contemplate the long history of Longfellow House Washington's Headquarters National Historic Site, ponder the world of politics at Massachusetts State House, appreciate the extensive heritage of Freedom Trail, and browse the different shops at Faneuil Hall Marketplace.
