Jewel of the Mediterranean

Barcelona, the country’s second-largest city, is a cosmopolitan urban center known for its throbbing youthful energy and stellar architecture.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like El Born and Ciutat Vella. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Playa de la Pineda and Capellans Beach. Explore Barcelona's surroundings by going to Beach Castelldelfels Barcelona (in Castelldefels) and Pont del Diable (in Tarragona). There's still lots to do: appreciate the extensive heritage of Barri de Gracia, admire the landmark architecture of Casa Amatller, take an in-depth tour of Museu d'Història de Catalunya, and appreciate the history behind Casa Vicens.
