The Capital of the South

Georgia’s largest city and capital, Atlanta is a thriving metropolis anchored by its southern roots.
Visit Ebenezer Baptist Church of Atlanta and Stately Oaks for their historical value. Step off the beaten path and head to Delta Flight Museum and Silver Comet Trail. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Atlanta: Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History (in Kennesaw), Sweetwater Creek State Park (in Lithia Springs) and Tellus Science Museum (in Cartersville). The adventure continues: admire the masterpieces at Michael C. Carlos Museum, see the interesting displays at Carter Center, hunt for treasures at Your Dekalb Farmers Market, and get engrossed in the history at Swan House.

Planning Atlanta trip won't be overwhelming when you use Inspirock's itinerary maker.

Tampa to Atlanta is an approximately 3-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and subway. Plan for a bit cooler nights when traveling from Tampa in June since evenings lows in Atlanta dip to 70°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 25th (Fri) so you can fly back home.
