Start off your visit on the 4th (Fri): make a trip to Santo Stefano di Sessanio, delve into the distant past at Rocca Calascio, and then admire the local landmark of Fontana delle 99 cannelle. On the next day, explore the fascinating underground world of Grotte di Stiffe, then pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica di Santa Maria di Collemaggio e Porta Santa, and then identify plant and animal life at Campo Imperatore.
