For most people, any mention of Orlando immediately conjures up images of sprawling theme parks filled with characters plucked right out of popular animated movies.
You'll get in some beach time at Beach at Daytona Beach and Ormond Beach. Get a sense of the local culture at International Drive and Madame Tussauds Orlando. Explore Orlando's surroundings by going to Blue Spring State Park (in Orange City), Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge (in De Leon Springs) and St. Augustine (Old Jail Museum, Lightner Museum, &more). Have a day of magic on the 26th (Sun) at Walt Disney World Resort. There's still lots to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary, Queen of the Universe, discover the magic at Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park, walk around Lake Eola Park, and look for all kinds of wild species at Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.
