Sitting along either side of the Nakdong River, Andong maintains an unrivalled reputation as a center for Korean folk and cultural heritage.
Venture out of the city with trips to Mungyeong Saejae Provincial Park (in Mungyeong), Cheongnyangsa Temple (in Bonghwa-gun) and Yeongju (Sosuseowon Confucian Academy & Buseoksa Temple). Spend the 1st (Sat) exploring nature at Juwangsan National Park. It doesn't end there: contemplate the long history of Andong Hahoe Folk Village and hunt for treasures at Andong Old Market.

Traveling from Busan in October, expect nights in Sokcho to be about the same, around 18°C, while days are little chillier, around 22°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 16th (Sun) early enough to drive to Seoul.

One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Seoul: DMZ Haemaru Village (in Paju), Ilsan Lake Park (in Goyang) and Hwaseong Fortress (in Suwon).
