Take a holiday in Dubai to experience a mix of excitement, entertainment, and relaxation.
Shop till you drop at ARTE - The Makers' Market and Galeries Lafayette. Visit Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding and Bastakia Quarter for their historical value. When in Dubai, make a side trip to see Emirates Park Zoo in Abu Dhabi, approximately 2 hours away. Spend the 8th (Thu) spotting exotic species with a safari tour. Spend 11th (Sun) on rugged terrain with a 4WD tour. There's still lots to do: tour the pleasant surroundings at Jumeirah Public Beach, admire nature's wide array of creatures at Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, admire the striking features of Burj Al Arab, and get in on the family fun at Wild Wadi Water Park.

If you are flying in from India, the closest major airports are Dubai International Airport, Sharjah International Airport, Al Maktoum International Airport and Ras Al Khaimah International Airport. Expect a daytime high around 44°C in May, and nighttime lows around 32°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 17th (Sat) early enough to drive to Sharjah.
