Tombstone

— 3 nights

Town Too Tough to Die

Founded in 1877 as a mining camp, Tombstone became one of the most storied towns of the "Wild West." As one of the last frontier boomtowns in the United States, Tombstone prospered between 1880 and 1890, attracting cattle rustlers and outlaws.
You'll explore and learn at Rose Tree Museum and Gunfighter Hall of Fame. Step out of the city life by going to San Pedro House and Patagonia-Sonoita Creek Preserve. Change things up with these side-trips from Tombstone: Elgin (Sonoita Vineyards & Callaghan Vineyards) and Sonoita (Rune Wines, Arizona Hops and Vines, &more). Next up on the itinerary: take an in-depth tour of Tombstone's Historama, contemplate the long history of Historic Gleeson Jail, and stop by Johnny One Dog's Tombstone Sarsaparilla.

In October, daily temperatures in Tombstone can reach 80°F, while at night they dip to 55°F.
