An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kick off your visit on the 14th (Mon): tour the pleasant surroundings at Napapiirin Porofarmi and then see what you can catch with a fishing tour. On the next day, explore the different monuments and memorials at German Soldier s Cemetery and then hit the slopes at Ounasvaaran Hiihtokeskus Oy.
