Known for its wide range of restaurants and traditional pubs, Kenmare sits along two major Irish tourist routes, the Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara.
Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Ring of Kerry Golf Club. Attractions like Inchydoney Beach and Horseback Riding Tours make great kid-friendly stops. Explore Kenmare's surroundings by going to Clonakilty (Michael Collins Centre & West Cork Model Railway Village) and Derrynane Beach (in Caherdaniel). There's much more to do: appreciate the extensive heritage of Molly Gallivan's Cottage & Traditional Farm, take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at St. Patrick's Church, and contemplate the long history of Stone Circle.

For other places to visit, maps, reviews, and other tourist information, refer to the Kenmare trip itinerary maker site .

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Cork Airport and Shannon Airport. In June, plan for daily highs up to 64°F, and evening lows to 53°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 5th (Fri) early enough to travel back home.
