Set deep in the Ouachita Mountains, the city of Hot Springs almost completely surrounds the national park of the same name.
Kick off your visit on the 3rd (Sat): contemplate the long history of Fordyce Bathhouse, then stop by Bathhouse Soapery, then take in nature's colorful creations at Garvan Woodland Gardens, and finally relax and rejuvenate at some of the best spas.

Dallas to Hot Springs is an approximately 3.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and taxi. Nestled in the heart of the Ozark Mountains, the whole town of Eureka Springs is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Eureka Springs: College of the Ozarks (in Point Lookout) and Branson (Titanic Museum & Branson Landing).
