The prosperous French Riviera resort town of Antibes is a popular summer destination featuring tons of beaches to suit couples, families, and any type of lifestyle, along with dozens, if not hundreds of cafes, bars, and salons de thé (tea) along the Mediterranean coast.

Attractions like Aiguille du Midi and Parc de Merlet make great kid-friendly stops. For a daily dose of excitement, medieval jousting tournaments are held twice per day between the two walls--while this may sound like a typical touristy show, it's actually an entertaining display of combative competition and horsemanship.
Kids will enjoy Cité de Carcassonne and Leucate Jet Ski. Go for a jaunt from Carcassonne to Roquefeuil to see Spel Et Eaux about 1h 5 min away.
