Kerch is a city of regional significance on the Kerch Peninsula in the east of the Crimea. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Yurkyne Beach and Kerch City Beach SunDali. Step off the beaten path and head to Adzhimushkay Quarry and Church of St. John the Baptist. Change things up with these side-trips from Kerch: Opukskiy Nature Reserve (in Yakovenkove) and Karalarskiy Nature Park (in Kurortne). Istanbul, Turkey to Kerch is an approximately 10-hour combination of flight and bus. You can also do a combination of car and ferry; or take a bus. Prepare for slightly colder weather when traveling from Istanbul in January: high temperatures in Kerch hover around 6°C and lows are around -1°C.
