Home to one of the largest ski areas in North America, former logging town of Whistler provides activities and entertainment for avid nature lovers and adrenaline seekers.
Get outdoors at Whistler Blackcomb and Princess Louisa Inlet. Step out of Whistler to go to Birken and see Birkenhead Lake Provincial Park, which is approximately 1h 15 min away. Getting from Victoria to Whistler by flight takes about an hour. Other options: do a combination of ferry and car. Traveling from Victoria in December, expect Whistler to be a bit cooler, temps between 0°C and -3°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 15th (Fri) early enough to go by car to Abbotsford.
