Lancaster is a charter city in northern Los Angeles County, in the Antelope Valley of the western Mojave Desert in Southern California. Get out of town with these interesting Lancaster side-trips: Vasquez Rocks Natural Area (in Agua Dulce) and Newhall (William S. Hart Museum & Ranch & Placerita Canyon Nature Center).
