The capital of the Philippines and the "Pearl of the Orient," Manila truly resembles a gem: rough on the outside, but glittering within.
Kick off your visit on the 15th (Fri): explore the galleries of San Agustin Church, then contemplate the waterfront views at Manila Bay, and then browse the different shops at Mall of Asia Arena.

Boracay to Manila is an approximately 3.5-hour combination of ferry, flight, and bus. You can also do a combination of ferry, bus, and flight; or do a combination of ferry and bus. When traveling from Boracay in December, plan for a bit warmer days and about the same nights in Manila: temperatures range from 36°C by day to 28°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 16th (Sat) to allow enough time to travel to Coron.

Coron tourism has developed around its dive spots, with coral reefs and 10 preserved Japanese underwater shipwrecks to explore.
Escape the urban bustle at Banol Beach and Scuba & Snorkeling. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Banana Island and Pass Island. There's much more to do: step off the mainland to explore Coron Bay, explore the gorgeous colors at Skeleton Reef, kick back and relax at Atwayan Beach, and contemplate the waterfront views at Kayangan Lake.

The coastal region of El Nido includes a mainland area of jungle, beaches, and cliffs, as well as 45 limestone islands and islets.
Step off the beaten path and head to Nacpan Beach and Shark Diving. Take a break from the city and head to Marimegmeg Beach and Matinloc Island. There's lots more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Duli Beach, head off the coast to Entalula Island, tour the pleasant surroundings at Tapiutan Beach, and contemplate the waterfront views at Small Lagoon.

You can fly from Coron to El Nido in 3.5 hours. Another option is to do a combination of ferry and bus. On the 31st (Sun), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can drive to Puerto Princesa.

A convenient place to stay when exploring the island, the city of Puerto Princesa sits on the coast in the center of the landmass.
Discover out-of-the-way places like Sabang Beach and Nagtabon Beach. Palawan Special Battalion WW2 Memorial Museum and Immaculate Conception Cathedral are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Getting from El Nido to Puerto Princesa by car takes about 4 hours. Other options: take a bus. In December in Puerto Princesa, expect temperatures between 36°C during the day and 29°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Sat) so you can travel to Cebu City.

All of 7 km (4.3 mi) long, the island of Boracay remains an idyllic destination drawing beach-goers from around the world.
You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Balinghai Beach and White Beach. Get outdoors at Ilig Iligan Beach and Yapak Beach (Puka Shell Beach). Spend the 12th (Fri) among aquatic life with a scuba or snorkeling tour. There's still lots to do: tour the pleasant surroundings at Diniwid Beach, play a few rounds at Fairways & Bluewater, kick back and relax at Buruanga Beach, and delve into the lush surroundings at Mangrove Nursery.

Traveling from Cebu City in January, you will find days in Boracay are slightly colder (30°C), and nights are about the same (26°C). Wrap up your sightseeing on the 15th (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
