Learning how to salsa may be the most popular thing to do in Cali, but this giant city in southwestern Colombia represents more than just the "Salsa Capital of the World." Home to over 2 million people, thriving Cali serves as a major commercial and industrial center in South America, boasting the fastest-growing economy in Colombia.
Take a break from the city and head to Nature & Wildlife Tours and Adrenaline & Extreme Tours. Popular historic sites such as Iglesia de San Antonio and Iglesia La Ermita are in your itinerary. Venture out of the city with trips to Reserva Natural San Cipriano (in San Cipriano), Palmira (Parque de la Factoria, Plaza de Bolivar, & more) and Choro Trail (in La Cumbre). Spend the 7th (Tue) exploring nature at Farallones de Cali. Pack the 26th (Sun) with family-friendly diversions at Acuaparque de Tardes Calenas Rozo. The adventure continues: learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Zoologico de Cali, get to know the fascinating history of Camino Real, admire the landmark architecture of El Gato Del Rio( Gato De Tejada), and see the interesting displays at Museo Aereo Fenix.

To find other places to visit, where to stay, more things to do, and tourist information, refer to the Cali travel planning site .

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major airport is Alfonso Bonilla Aragon International Airport. In April, plan for daily highs up to 87°F, and evening lows to 67°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 31st (Fri) so you can travel back home.
