Pittsburgh — 30 nights

City of Bridges

Known primarily for its steel-related heritage and 446 bridges, Pittsburgh sits at the confluence of the Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers, which meet to form the Ohio River.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Pittsburgh: Jager and Friends Dog Park (in Somerset), Stoystown (Tower of Voices & Flight 93 National Memorial) and Sugarcreek (David Warther Carvings & World's Largest Cuckoo Clock). On the 11th (Tue), spend a day ambling around Mill Creek Park. The adventure continues: admire the natural beauty at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, engage your brain at Carnegie Science Center, take a stroll through Strip District, and steep yourself in history at West Virginia Penitentiary.

In April, plan for daily highs up to 63°F, and evening lows to 43°F.
