With a nickname like the "Pearl of the Orient," it's not surprising Shanghai offers some of the most rewarding attractions and activities in the Far East.
Do some cultural sightseeing at The Bund (Wai Tan) and Shanghai Museum (Shanghai Bowuguan). Visit Zhujiajiao Ancient Town and Xitang Ancient Town for their historical value. There's much more to do: admire the natural beauty at Yu Garden (Yuyuan), enjoy breathtaking views from Shanghai World Financial Center, shop like a local with Xintiandi, and make a trip to Nanjing Lu (Nanjing Road).

Historians often describe Xi'an, capital city for over a dozen dynasties, as the birthplace of Chinese civilization.
