Alburgh is a town in Grand Isle County, Vermont, United States, founded in 1781 by Ira Allen. Do some cultural sightseeing at Snow Farm Vineyard and Winery and St. Anne's Shrine. Step off the beaten path and head to Alburg Dunes State Park and 14th Star Brewing Company. Venture out of the city with trips to Saint Albans (Saint Albans Museum & Kamp Kill Kare State Park), South Hero (White's Beach, Allenholm Farm, &more) and Knight Point State Park (in North Hero). There's still lots to do: tour the pleasant surroundings at Goodsell Ridge Preserve, look for gifts at Hero's Welcome, and contemplate the waterfront views at Lake Carmi State Park.
