Kick off your visit on the 7th (Fri): indulge in Japan's hot spring tradition at some of the top local onsens, take in the spiritual surroundings of Nikko Tosho-gu, take in the spiritual surroundings of Rinno-ji Temple, then steep yourself in history at Nikko Futarasan Jinja Shrine, and finally steep yourself in history at Taiyuimbyo Shrine.
