Take a train from Kyoto to Hiroshima in 2 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. In January in Hiroshima, expect temperatures between 11°C during the day and 2°C at night. You'll have a few hours on the 22nd (Wed) to wrap things up before traveling to Osaka.
