Brussels — 29 nights

Capital of Europe

The allure of the multi-cultural capital, Brussels, stems from its mix of political intrigue, artistic influence, historical significance, and a thriving social scene.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Food Tours and Bois de la Cambre. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Brussels: Bastogne (Mardasson Memorial & Bastogne War Museum), Mons (St Symphorien Military Cemetery & Francois Duesberg Museum) and Le Bois du Cazier (in Charleroi). There's much more to do: steep yourself in history at Grand Place, Head underground at Domaine Des Grottes De Han, learn about all things military at For Freedom Museum, and appreciate the history behind Manneken Pis.

For photos, traveler tips, other places to visit, and more tourist information, you can read our Brussels visit planner.

If you are flying in from India, the closest major aiports are Brussels Airport, Antwerp International Airport (Deurne), Brussels South Charleroi Airport and Liège Airport. Expect a daytime high around 26°C in July, and nighttime lows around 15°C.
