Although decidedly industrial on the outskirts, Liege also boasts impressive architecture.
Start off your visit on the 1st (Fri): discover the riches below the earth's surface at Blegny-Mine, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Abbaye du Val-Dieu, then look for all kinds of wild species at Forestia, then admire the landmark architecture of Gare de Liege-Guillemins, and finally stroll around Parc de la Boverie.

Brussels to Liege is an approximately 1-hour train ride. You can also drive; or take a bus. In November in Liege, expect temperatures between 11°C during the day and 3°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 1st (Fri) so you can go by car to Han-sur-Lesse.
