For shopping fun, head to Gurney Plaza or Queensbay Mall. Step off the beaten path and head to Spas and TeddyVille Museum. Take a break from George Town with a short trip to Escape Theme Park in Teluk Bahang, about 36 minutes away. The adventure continues: view the masterpieces at Hin Bus Depot, get engrossed in the history at Pinang Peranakan Mansion, steep yourself in history at Cheong Fatt Tze - The Blue Mansion, and wander the streets of Chew Jetty.
