Olympia is the capital of the State of Washington and the county seat of Thurston County. Change things up with a short trip to Northwest Trek Wildlife Park in Eatonville (about 1 hour away). There's much more to do: explore the engaging exhibits at Hands On Children's Museum, pause for some photo ops at Washington State Capitol Campus, take in the views from 5th Avenue Bridge, and look for all kinds of wild species at Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge.

In November in Olympia, expect temperatures between 50°F during the day and 35°F at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Wed) so you can travel back home.
