Sitting on the shores of Alaska's longest fjord and surrounded by mountains, the port city of Haines boasts spectacular scenery.
On the 4th (Tue), examine the collection at Hammer Museum, then look for all kinds of wild species at The Kroschel Wildlife Center, and then look for all kinds of wild species at Alaska Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve.

Ketchikan

The narrow city of Ketchikan clings to the bluffs that form Revillagigedo Island's southwestern shore.
You've now added Alaska Marine Highway System to your itinerary. Start off your visit on the 5th (Wed): take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports and then take a tour by water with Alaska Marine Highway System. On the next day, take a memorable tour with Tours, then steep yourself in history at Totem Bight State Historical Park, then see the interesting displays at Dolly's House Museum, and finally appreciate the extensive heritage of Creek Street.
