Freedom — 2 nights

Freedom is known for wineries. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: get a sense of history and politics at 1000 Islands Environmental Center, stroll around High Cliff State Park, make a trip to Little Chute Windmill, and bet on your favorite at Wisconsin International Raceway (WIR).

For where to stay, other places to visit, ratings, and more tourist information, read our Freedom trip planner.

Atlanta to Freedom is an approximately 5-hour combination of flight and car. You can also drive. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 1 hour traveling from Atlanta to Freedom. Prepare for much colder weather when traveling from Atlanta in March: high temperatures in Freedom hover around 39°F and lows are around 22°F. On the 13th (Sun), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can drive back home.
