The Discovery City

More than just one of the nation's top business centers, Columbus is a mixture of many different parts of America, situated at the spot where the so-called "Bible Belt" meets the varied cultures of the Great Plains and Appalachia.
Kids will appreciate attractions like National Museum of the US Air Force and Easton Town Center. Explore Columbus' surroundings by going to Columbus Zoo and Aquarium (in Powell), Dayton (Boonshoft Museum of Discovery & Dayton National Cemetery) and Ohio Caverns (in West Liberty). There's lots more to do: whizz through the canopy at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks, see the interesting displays at Wagner-Hagans Auto Museum, and engage your brain at Center of Science and Industry (COSI).
