Inhabited for millennia, the city of Bukhara boasts a World Heritage-listed center teeming with historic mosques, madrassas, pools, and ancient ruins.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Turki Jangi Mausoleum and Art Museum Kamoliddin Behzod. Fayzulla Khujayev House and Maghak-i 'Attari Mosque are good opportunities to explore the local culture. There's much more to do: contemplate the long history of Kosh Madrasah, explore and take pictures at Gaukushan Madrasah, admire the landmark architecture of Balyand Mosque, and pause for some photo ops at Monument to Hodja Nasreddin.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major airport is Bukhara Airport. Expect a daytime high around 42°C in June, and nighttime lows around 24°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 26th (Wed) to allow enough time to travel back home.
