Bormio is a town and comune with a population of about 4,100 located in the Province of Sondrio, Lombardy region of the Alps in northern Italy.The centre of the upper Valtellina valley, it is a popular winter sports resort. Step off the beaten path and head to Museo Civico Di Bormio and Centro Storico di Gromo. Visiting Diga del Gleno and Val Zebru will get you outdoors. Go for a jaunt from Bormio to Gromo to see Castello Ginami about 1h 30 min away. And it doesn't end there: stop by Negozio Della Latteria, take in panoramic vistas at Torre della Bajona, delve into the distant past at Torri di Fraele, and fly down the slopes at Sertorelli - Scuola Sci.
