Bayonne is a city and commune and one of the two sub-prefectures of the department of Pyrénées-Atlantiques, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of south-western France. Get some historical perspective at Cathedrale Sainte-Marie de Bayonne and Château de Mauléon. Villa Arnaga and Basque Museum (Musee Basque) are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Explore Bayonne's surroundings by going to Abbaye Notre-Dame-de-Belloc. (in Urt), Eglise d'Ainhoa (in Ainhoa) and Chateau de Gramont (Bidache) (in Bidache). There's lots more to do: test your team's savvy at popular escape rooms, pause for some serene contemplation at Eglise Saint-Jean-Baptiste de l'Uhabia, relax and rejuvenate at some of the best spas, and appreciate the extensive heritage of La rue Port Neuf.
