Bangui, or Bangî in Sango, formerly written Bangi in English, is the capital and largest city of the Central African Republic. Step out of the city life by going to Les Chutes de Boali (Boali Waterfalls) and Oubangui River. Get some historical perspective at Notre-Dame of Bangui Cathedral and The Big Mosque. Spend the 14th (Wed) exploring nature at Bamingui-Bangoran National Park. There's still lots to do: take a stroll through K-Cinq (Km-5 Intersection), hunt for treasures at Marche Central (Central Market), make a trip to Place de la Republique, and see the interesting displays at Musee de Boganda (Boganda Museum).

If you are flying in from Vietnam, the closest major airport is Bangui M'Poko International Airport. March in Bangui sees daily highs of 39°C and lows of 26°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 14th (Wed) early enough to travel back home.
