Bangui, or Bangî in Sango, formerly written Bangi in English, is the capital and largest city of the Central African Republic. Get some cultural insight at Musee de Boganda (Boganda Museum) and K-Cinq (Km-5 Intersection). Escape the urban bustle at Oubangui River and Bamingui-Bangoran National Park. The adventure continues: browse the eclectic array of goods at Marche Central (Central Market), contemplate in the serene atmosphere at The Big Mosque, pause for some serene contemplation at Notre-Dame of Bangui Cathedral, and pause for some photo ops at Place de la Republique.

If you are flying in from Vietnam, the closest major airport is Bangui M'Poko International Airport. In March, daily temperatures in Bangui can reach 39°C, while at night they dip to 26°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 14th (Wed) early enough to travel back home.
