Set deep in the Ouachita Mountains, the city of Hot Springs almost completely surrounds the national park of the same name.
On the 16th (Wed), get answers to all your questions at Fordyce Bathhouse, then take in panoramic vistas at Hot Springs Mountain Tower, then look for gifts at Dapper & Debonaire, and finally relax and rejuvenate at some of the best spas. On the 17th (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: see the interesting displays at The Galaxy Connection, then whizz through the canopy at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks, then admire the natural beauty at Garvan Woodland Gardens, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Anthony Chapel.

Little Rock to Hot Springs is an approximately 1-hour car ride. You can also do a combination of bus and taxi; or do a combination of train and taxi. In June, plan for daily highs up to 88°F, and evening lows to 70°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 17th (Thu) to allow enough time to drive to Eureka Springs.

Eureka Springs

Nestled in the heart of the Ozark Mountains, the whole town of Eureka Springs is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
On the 18th (Fri), contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Thorncrown Chapel, look for gifts at Hippie Biker Chick, then tour the pleasant surroundings at Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge, and finally pause for some photo ops at Christ of the Ozarks.
