A long-established beach community, Playas del Coco has developed a reputation as a favored spot for young travelers and locals to let loose by the sea.
Iglesia Catolica de Playas del Coco and Rojas Bros Boruca Indigenous Arts are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Visiting Zipline and Potrero Beach will get you outdoors. Get out of town with these interesting Playas del Coco side-trips: Spas & Wellness (in Tamarindo) and Adrenaline & Extreme Tours (in Playa Flamingo).
